The Turkish-born artist Erdo Sam lives and works in Würzburg, where he studied German and pedagogy at the Julius Maximilian University. His work has been shown internationally in group exhibitions and at trade fairs. The large-format canvas works impress with their color design and a three-dimensional play with haptic material, which is applied to the two-dimensional surface in an almost sculptural manner. In addition to these monumental works, the artist knows how to translate figurative moments that seem to merge into each other into his works on paper in a fine painting style.
