Born in Turkey, artist Erdo Sam lives and works in Würzburg, where he studied German language and education at Julius Maximilian University. His works have been shown internationally in group exhibitions and at trade fairs. The large-scale canvas works impress with their colorful design and a three-dimensional play with haptic material, which is applied to the two-dimensional surface in an almost sculptural manner. In addition to these monumental works, the artist knows how to implement figurative moments, which seem to merge into each other, in his works on paper in a fine-painting manner.
