Marc Jung: Hungry Eyes

Marc Jung: Hungry Eyes

It is especially the palette of colours Marc Jung works with that always captivates me anew to his paintings. These incredibly bright colours in combination with his expressive, almost aggressive way of applying multi-layered paint make Marc Jung one of the most promising and exciting young artists in Germany in my opinion. Looking at ›Hungry Eyes‹, one is rewarded for a careful study of technique and discovers a broken cutter tip that the artist sticks on the canvas in ironic reference to the sharp teeth of sharks. Loud, sassy, colourful and wild. Once you have looked at a Jung, you will recognize it again and again and never forget it!
